While conducting traffic enforcement on Post Road, near the intersection of Huntington Avenue, an officer spotted a red Honda CRV going 52 mph in the posted 30 mph zone.

During the subsequent traffic stop near the intersection of Post Road and Oxford Road, it was determined that the driver, Bronx resident Aramis Guzman, 30, had his license suspended 10 times for various offenses.

Guzman’s license was first suspended three times on March 17, 2013, for failure to answer a summons in Van Buren. On Dec. 2, 2015, it was again suspended twice in Yorktown for failure to answer a summons. The license would later be suspended twice more in Yorktown and once in Manhattan last year. In Manhattan on May 19 last year, his license was suspended for scofflaw and on Aug. 4, 2017, it was suspended the latest time for failure to pay child support.

Following the DMV check of his license, Guzman was arrested and charged with a misdemeanor count of aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle with three or more suspensions. He was also cited for speeding. After being arraigned in Scarsdale Village Court, Guzman was released on $200 cash bail. He is due back in court on June 27 to answer the charges.
